| Loans
In order to provide an efficient circulation of materials,
the Library had sets the following policy regarding borrowing eligibility,
length of loan, renewals, interlibrary loan and damage and replacement.
Borrowers
All CIP personnel as well as trainees and practitioners
can borrow any item that circulates for public use.
Lending
The Library lends almost all the available material of their collection
for a period of seven calendar days. The cost to replace the lost
or damage of the items will be charged to the users.
Renewal
All Library's materials may be renewed, unless on reserve for another
borrower. Materials presented for renewal which have reserves on
them, must be returned immediately. Renewals requests can be made
by telephone, in person, or through the e-mail.
Reserve
All Libraries' materials may be placed on reserve. The borrower
is notified as soon as the reserved material is available for borrowing.
Interlibrary Loan
No Library can meet all the needs of all users, thus the Head-Library
actively promote cooperation with other libraries to more effectively
meet the needs of their internal users.
Material not part of the Library's
collection can be obtained through interlibrary loans. Books are
picked up from other local Libraries and returned within 7 calendar
days.
Journal articles are general; received via e-mail or photocopied
and mailed. Cost involved in this service is always charged to the
user.
